Scan to merge is a revolutionary new process that we have developed here at PED.  Scan to merge can take most any image, such as old blueprints, hand sketches, or archieved drawings and overlay the information int Autocad.   This allows the creation of a Hybrid Vector-Raster Image, the combining of raster elements (pixels) with vectors (straight light segments).  This technique eliminates the tedious and time consuming process of vectorization, the creation of vectors on top of raster.

To see the actual results of this process view the images below and more examples.

Key Benefits

Capabilities

The image below represents a hybrid raster-vector drawing that uses a digitial site plan created in Autocad and merged with a 1"=50' hand-drawn architectural building plan (green areas).  The architectural building plan was scanned, scaled, rotated, and merged with the Autocad site plan.  Click on the image to see more detail.
